		<description>He signed a major league contract with a club option for 2011 so unless the Phillies want to eat his contract he&#039;ll be on the roster on opening day unless he&#039;s hurt.  I have no issue with the signing unless its the only bench move the Phillies make, which I doubt.</description>

		<description>You&#039;re right Castro is Bruntlett&#039;s replacement which doesn&#039;t say much. It&#039;s an OK move as he is a good defender, but and had one of his better season&#039;s last year. I look at him as a guy who needs to earn a spot in spirng trainning.</description>

		<description>This and the White Sox signing of Vizquel are the type signings you&#039;re going to see until the big free agents start to sign.  That will set the market for the others.  Vizquel is 43, so signing him to a multi-year deal simply wasn&#039;t going to happen nor would it be a prudent move.  I like Castro, he&#039;s a much better glove man than Bruntlett, and he hit about 100 points better in 2009 than Bruntlett did.</description>
