Phillies NLCS Winners

For the second time in as many years the phillies are NLCS winners and there is merchandise to prove it.  Tonight the Phillies clinched the 2009 National Leage Championship Series by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The a final score of 10-4 gave the Phillies the series win to the Phillies for the second year in a row.

    For once I was correct in picking the Fightens in five. Even though when this thing started. I doubted they could get out of the 1st round. The Evil EMPIRE. Meaning NYY. If CC beats Lee in the first game and that is a big if. Evil Empire 4 Fightens 1. No faith in Hammels,Blanton etc. If Chirley has any confident in Cole forget it.

    I also wasn’t on board because of the bullpen issues, but I did pick them to win the opening round, and I thought they’d win in six against the Dodgers. Seeing how well the bullpen has done I do believe they can beat the Yankees. Pedro is the wild card here for the Phillies I believe.
