Like the late great Tug McGraw once said, “You Gotta Believe”.  Yes I believe it. We are just one win away form ending the drought of major league sports championships in Philadelphia.  Tonight we have ‘Ace in the Cole’ Hamels taking the mound.  Cole has been perfect through out the playoffs  Just one more game and tomorrow,  the phillies could be making World Series parade plans.

As Phillies fans, we have waited so long for this night, so many years.  And there is a kicker.  In recent years Philly teams have been hammered by Tampa Bay team.  Flyers got killed a few years back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Bucs kept the Eagles from going to the Super Bowl.  I think though, this is our time. Our time to say we are the champions.

So Cole, all we are asking is just one more great game.  No need to hit a home run, just don’t let Tampa hit one either.
