Dishing out the blame

Dishing out the blame thumbnail

All those lousy Maple Leafs had to do was beat the New York Rangers Wednesday night and everything would have been fine. Instead Toronto laid an egg, losing to the Rangers, 5-1, thus keeping the Flyers from clinching a playoff spot.

Sure the Flyers have all the opportunity in the world to punch their own ticket to the playoffs. All they need to do is beat the Rangers once in their final two games and all is well.

But what if they don’t?

What if the Rangers spank them twice and Philadelphia is stuck sitting at home for the playoffs? How will Flyers fans react?

I’m sure some people will blame the players, the coaches and the front office for this debacle. But not me. If the Flyers miss the playoffs my finger will be pointed straight at the root of all evil. Those damn Maple Leafs didn’t get the job done.

And for that there is only one person to blame:

Carter game time decision. My prediction Flyers win them both and they end up the 6 seed vs Buffalo.

Got something to say?
